Okay everyone, I have a story for you… Last weekend, I pulled my oven out to clean behind it and nearly blew up the thing. The electrical wire sparked right above the gas line and I heard a big boom. The oven went dead instantly. I am grateful that I am ok and thankful to have an uncle that knows how to fix ovens really well. Anyways, after that event, I was a bit scared of the oven, but I decided to try to make some protein bars for the week. The protein mixture ended up overflowing and started to smoke up the entire house, setting off one of my fire alarms. Lets just say that the oven and I are no longer best friends.

Then I had the idea to make no-bake protein balls instead- which worked out very smoothly. I decided to make Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Protein Balls using some of my favorite ingredients, like peanut butter of course, honey, and rolled oats. The entire recipe took me only 10 minutes to make and then 30 minutes to cool. I ended up leaving them in the fridge overnight and took a batch of them to work the next day (my coworkers were all jealous)! Here’s the recipe for you below! Enjoy!

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Protein Balls

  • 1 Cup of Rolled Oats
  • 1/2 Cup of Peanut Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons of Honey
  • 1/4 Cup of Chocolate Chip Minis
  • 1/4 Cup FlaxSeed


Stir all ingredients together in a bowl. Place into the fridge for 10-20 minutes. Take bowl back out and start to roll the mixture into 12 protein balls. Set back in the fridge to cool for 10 minutes or overnight.
